Innovative video clips provide FREE online visual training on VoIP, SIP and 3CX IP PBX
London – 17 February, 2009 - 3CX (www.3cx.com) the international developer of telecommunications software has announced the launch of its Youtube channel, which contains a series of technical videos called “VoIP Nuggets”. These are short video clips, published on Youtube, which provide online training of 3CX Phone System for Windows as well as SIP & VoIP technology. The videos are authored by 3CX staff, the 3CX user community as well as technology partners such as Patton. The tutorials are provided free of charge.
“There are several websites which explain VoIP technology, however they are text based and often quite theoretical. The VoIP nuggets are targeted towards IT administrators or computer resellers that want to get started on VoIP technology. The videos cover practical issues such as gateway setup, firewall configuration, SIP basics and so on”, said Nick Galea, CEO at 3CX.

Nimbuzz Signs Distribution Deal
VoIP provider Nimbuzz has signed a distribution deal with Spice Mobiles, an nnovative handsets maker in India. Spice Mobile handsets will now come preloaded with the Nimbuzz application.
“We are growing at a record pace at VoIP, adding around 20,000 new users per day. Our community appeals to handset manufacturers as they benefit from global and local IM and Social Network community integration and comprehensive feature set - at a substantially accelerated speed to market, and without incurring additional overhead costs. This deal ensures significant market penetration for Nimbuzz across the APAC territories and we will be working closely with Spice Mobiles to encourage future shipment of new handsets,” said Nimbuzz CEO Evert-Jaap Lugt.
